NXP-301 (fan controller) problem

The fan controller I got from Directron, the Vantec NXP-301 seems to have a problem with the light controller. When I turn it on, it stays on for a little bit, then cuts off and turns into the sound mode (where sounds make it flash) even though it is turned all the way up - anyone heard of this problem?

I hope I don't have to return it, as it will slow my modding process down even more... and I just got that white cathode working...

I haven't heard of any problems with it. Check the manufactors website and see if they have any forums...sometimes there are spots on them for customers to complain about malfunctions, etc. If you still can't find anything...I'd say RMA it.
