All informed?!
Good..
now here where I stand...
the orginal setting to my comp was at 233Mhz @ 66MhzFSB, then I oc'd at 300Mhz (rated, avg at 340Mhz) stiill @ 66Mhz...
Q1: there has been talk bout ppl reaching FSB of 75Mhz on these boards, and even 83Mhz(but thats just nuts!!) now, is there anyway to configure the pins on the board to have it rated at 73Mhz or anything wiriing, soldering or from what ppl also said using a P3 chip instead of the p2 ( I could do some experiementing, but I don't have the time or Money if I blow it up)
Q2: Is my MB or Chipset "clocked-locked", ppl were saying if the board was made before this date..... its not.. and after this date, it is?
Q3: by getting/buying the lastest AwardBIOS version (FLASH upgrade or socket replacement), can have a better tally on overclocking?
Finally, please don't tell me Im wasting my time.. because I just spent an entire day trying to sqeeze something out.. but no luck-so far. If I had the money I would invest in a 133FSB MB.. but I don't
