Hey i got a athlon xp 2100+ im puttin gin my new sys (its 1.736 ghz). I was wondering how much is the default voltage and how much can i make it and what are the pro's and con's of voltage, is the only con heat? pro's are more mhz and stability right? I have a swiftech mcx462 and i dont wanna crazy o/c it just maybe like from 1.736 to 1.8 or max 1.85. Any help would be appreciated (in other words ..respond fast! :) hehe).

higher voltages will shorten the life of the cpu. the higher the volagte the faster you can kill it. try to get as high as you can before upping the v core. if it gets a little unstabe, you can bump it up a notch
