Just got a Asus Strix 1080ti (non OC version).

I've followed the Asus ROG guide, where the OP starts with +70 on the core and +200 on the mem. I did initially use Asus GPU tweak but I just prefer MSI afterburner. Anyone else feel this way?

I'm also trying to figure out how to have my core clock value display below my GPU temp in terms of OSD Monitoring if using MSI. I believe that in order to have OSD with Asus Tweak one must install XSplit Gamecaster? I haven't tried this yet.

So in terms of my OC, I'd love to achieve a 2000mhz OC on this card and from my understanding increments of +10 is the way to go? I'm using Valley and Heaven for testing stability after which I go into a game (Kingdom Come deliverance) and mess around.

In terms of mem clock, I'm not sure what to expect? If I should be doing +10 increments on that also?

I slapped the power limit to 120% and voltage to 100% also, which gives a 0.02v increase.

The card does 1860/5508 out of the box with nothing changed. (This is when I open render test with gpu-z) The boost value in gpuz shows 1607

Thanks for any useful tips as well as if there's a way to have all OSD values show one below the other with MSI monitoring (this I can't figure out)

1. Msi osd... the graphs? Just change the order in the settings.
2. I work in large increments saving time. 30 mhz bump...does it work? Yes? Raise another 30. No? Raise 15 from where you started. Rinse and repeat.
3. Memory will be good a few hundred mhz. You go by 10s there it will take you forever.

MSI OSD as in like this

I want the core clock to be below GPU temp and not next to it...I want all values to be below one another. I knew how to do this but forgot and can't find a solution online.

I've been running Valley and Heaven for my benchmarks and here's what I have so far

Core - +105, anything higher and driver resets itself
Mem - +400, I noticed that benchmarks scores dropped if I increased it more?

For example @ 300 - 4410
@ 350 - 4451
@ 400 - 4458
@ 500 - 4451?

In any case, I'll probably stick with the +350 on the mem but I cam curious why the scores would drop?

Thanks.

Also figured out my OSD MSI question. I had to override group name in the monitoring tab, not graph name...that made all values one below the other instead of having core next to gpu temp.

Score drops because of instability. ;)

That said it should be pretty obvious whatever test that is doesnt respond well to memory bandwidth increases as your scores are well within the margin of error (less than 1%).
