Well right now would be a good time to step the volts up a bit. 1 maybe 2 tenths.

I would set your memory to 2/2/3 and see if that helps also. What do your system temps and your ambient temps look like? What heatsink are you running? What's on the heatsink for a thermal interace? Pad or silicone? I would also try pulling the NIC out and see if that helps. I don't know how those SMC jobbies overclock.

Oh and, Welcome Aboard!

thanx for reply.my cpu temps are 36c idle 4o-41c load.i have a global win fop38 lapped with arctic silver.i also have fan on northbridge &mem.sinks on pll chip, southbridge &hub.10 fans in total.3 intake 4 exhaust &others.i did try 3 2 2 but that did`nt help.how would going 2 2 3 help?i can raise voltage in bios by .05 increments.email me if you like.

Going to CAS 2/2/3 will take a little strain off the memory. It's about the only thing that I can think is holding you up. Other than voltage that is. Your temps are good. You've got a good heatsink for that chip. If you up the voltage go .10, then drop your CAS, and see if it boots. If not, pull out all of your cards except for the Asus. See if it boots then. If it does, put the cards back one by one until you find your culprit.

My 800's would go past 990 without going up .20 in the volts. You basically have three things in your way.

thanx for your ideas kingslayer.i will try tomorrow, what you said about my ethernet card.it is just a cheap one installed by the @home people up here.if it is the weak link,x my fingers,do you have any brand name ethernet cards to suggest,my comp. store carries 3com&dlink.
