I had my DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D running fine with one 512MB stick in the first orange slot. I then put the second stick in the second orange slot and got one long beep. I then took out the second stick and now still get the one long beep. I tried resetting cmos and still get the one long beep. I had run memtest for 10 hours with the first stick with no errors. Any suggestions?

I have the same ram and am getting the Ultra D in a week or 2 so I hope there isnt a conflict

Use the yellow slots instead.
Well that worked. I'm suspecting theres a problem with my other stick of RAM. I tried it in the yellow slot and got the one long beep. The one stick is working in the first yellow slot but the other stick doesnt.

Your probably going to have to up the voltage to your ram and loosen the timings a little to boot into windows. I know I had too.

No conflict. I have used tested 2 Gb of that stuff with zero issues. :)

To the OP:
If any other RAM does not work in those slots, the slots are probably dead. If you had the 4V jumper enabled and a voltage of < 3.2V, you may have killed your RAM for good. Also, removing RAM when the MB is powered up is not a good idea.
