Oem Vs. Retail Chips

Is there a diff between Oem Procs and retail procs?

30 day warrenty or a 3year warrenty plus a little eye candy for the more expensive retail chips. I actually have bought 3 retail and 3 OEM chips all AMD the three OEM chips were "9" and the three retail chips were "Y" these were all bought from the same place aswell.

My recent oem purchase is a Duron 1000(no fan) and it has a 1 year warrenty unlike my old duron 750 oem which was 30 days w/ out a fan? Guess it depends on the store
