Ok I have the kt7 raid motherboard with the bios version zt and everything was working great untill I decided to try and overclock my amd 1.2 just a little bit and so I went into the bios and started to rais the fsb a step at a time and after each step i would reboot untill it would not boot up again so I found out what the limit was, I was getting power to the system but it would not post i decided to reset the bios because I have done this before with the bios of wz, ok so I reset the bios and now the system wont even power on at all so I tried a diferant power supply and even spiked the motherboard to see if that was the problem and now I think it is because of that zt bios and I know I did not fry the cpu because I did not get past 1.3 and I am using a FOP38.
can anyone help me get this thing to power up again or am i screwed?

since you moved the jumper to clear the cmos make sure you put it back right , I have accidently left it on the clear cmos side before and it did nothing , except nearly give me a heart attack , hope this helps

that wasnt it but thx

My guess it that you have mis-set-up something. Easy to do. Unplug and re-check everything, return to defaults every where you can, even on settings that have worked fine till now. leave unplugged for an hour and try again.

Well, you're not screwed no matter what. If the board doesn't boot, you can always RMA it to Abit. Err...I think you can anyway, most other mobo manufacturers let you RMA defective equipment.

boot holding the insert key, this resrts the bios back to default.it may take 3-4 boots but will start.
