so in light of all this new stuff i am wondering from all these people in this new sub forum.

how many old consoles do you have and what are they?

just trying to get a feel of some of your guys gaming background.
and i am talking consoles you still have not ones you had and none of that portable stuff. i'll post my list a little later, i gotta do inventory of my game stuff any way.

I don't really use any of my consoles anymore, but I still have some hooked up and in working condition:

1) NES
2)Sega Genesis
3) Nintendo 64
4) GameCube

The NES was the second of that system that I've had, got it back in '89. Have to play the "blow out the cartridge and system" game, and do a little wiggling of the cartridges for it to work, but it does. The other systems work without a hitch.

I'm not sure if my old Intellevision is still packed away in the basement or if it got thrown out, but that way my first system way back in the early 80's. I got it when our cable carrier offered Play Cable. Was a pretty neat system, and was pretty cool having choices of different games every couple weeks. When they canceled the service, they even sent a game checklist for me to choose 20 titles, and gave them for free. I still spent most of my time over at a buddy's house playing his Atari 2600 though, because that was, of course, the best gaming there was back then.

I have a NES here in the apartment. I also have a n64 and ps2 but I let my brother keep those. The NES still rocks hard and has for years, neighbors come over all the time to play. I guess it's nostalgia.
