From the review:
"Silver is one of the best conductors of heat. It conducts heat much better than even copper, which most high performance heatsinks are made out of. However, silver is expensive which is why there are relatively few silver heatsinks and liquid blocks. "
How typical:
The difference in thermal conductivity between Copper
and Silver is relatively small. (406w/mk, versus 385w/mk for Copper)
As you know, the cost differential is what's paramount.

I reiterate that the Compusa product has ZERO silver in the silver labeled paste, COMPUSA used Arctic Silvers own pictures of the Bogus paste. They can write what they want on the product description, It has Zero silver in it.
The Only 'Silver' based product Compusa carries is Arctic Silver paste sold there, buy the other paste sold there as I stated earlier has ZERO silver in it? Want to bet me that I am wrong? I'll make a friendly bet with all proceeds to charity if you want
Even though the product description states it has
"97% pure micronized silver", ... it still isn't real metallic Silver?

Hmmm ... (pasted from above lynk)
2 pack; 97% pure micronized silver
75-80% silver content by weight
Thermal conductivity 8.2 w/m degrees Kelvin
External Temp. Limits; -60 degrees to 170 degrees
What is this "97% pure micronized silver" made from?
Silver Oxide?
And ... if the Silver is 97% pure, what is the other 3%?
Zinc? ... Aluminum? ... ?
Lest we forget that even the new AS5 is only 12% Silver
by volume.
"
Contains 99.9% pure silver:
Arctic Silver 5 uses three unique shapes and sizes of pure silver particles to maximize particle-to-particle contact area and thermal transfer.
High-Density:
Arctic Silver 5 contains over 88% thermally Conductive filler by weight. In addition to micronized silver, Arctic Silver 5 also contains sub-micron zinc oxide, aluminum oxide and boron nitride particles. These thermally-enhanced ceramic particles improve the compound's performance and long-term stability.

The "Arctic Silver Fraud" page lynked above made me laugh.
If the name on the label isn't even spelled correctly, that's
a good indication that you should stay away.
