I have a epox 8k7a+ motherboard i am going to buy a sound card but i am thinking of postponing the purchase for a while . only if the on board sound is good. i will either get a turtle beach santa cruz or an audidgy 2. if you add a sound card how do you disable the on board card. anyone know what the s/n ratio for the on board sound will be much appreciated.

there is an option in the bios to disable the onboard sound. Its in the same menu to disable the other onboard features generaly. I dont know exactly, never owned an 8k7a
