onboard raid channels

i'm getting the shuttle ak35gt/r. i have a question about the raid channels. i know how raid works and all that; i'm planning on using it with 2 60gb ibm gxp60's. if i'm using 2 hard drives, do i put them both on one channel, or do they go seperate channels? i want to have them in a striping configuration. thanks . . .

Put them on separate channels. I don't think RAID striping would work if they were on the same channel. Or maybe it would work, but it'd be slow. On separate channels the HDD's can both work simultaneously.
