The realtek HD audio driver should work for ALC662 in windows 7 since version 2.2 my aunts laptop has an older audio chipset from realtek and it works fine.

Dunno why it lists two chipsets for your device. There are Vista drivers for the Via 1708S and Vista drivers work in seven in my experience. Try just installing the Realtek HD audio driver for 7 2.2 or 2.33
