I need help!

Bios reports my computer running at 46-47C, I have a thermaltake Volcano 5. The temp really doesn't bother me, because it reports ambient time high as well, but here comes the problem.

When installing XP I often get "misreads" off my cdrom. Occasionally It will lock up on me. And on very rare occasions It just reboots like someone turned the power off and right back on.
needless to say, I have yet to install an OS on the computer.

Tell me there is a simple solution!

Thanks

Options: Take your side panel off. Maybe put a small room fan to blow on your hardware(but don't put it too close to your monitor). Think about beefing up your case cooling by adding fans. Run your AC colder. Reapply thermal goo and remount the heatsink. Get an original Glaciator from Millenium-Thermal for $17.50 plus shipping.

If BIOS reports your temp are like 46-47C when starting up, then your temp are higher once in window, not even mentioning fullload:eek:
you said your ambient temp are high too, try put some exhaust fans to take the hot air out, or your HSF is sucking the hot ambient over and over again. and while exhausting those hot air out, use some intakes fan too to provide cool air into the case.
