I found this OpenGL driver for UT the other day, and it seems
to give me a major perfomance boost.
(It also fixes the gamma problem with the default OpenGL driver)
I cant remember where I found it, or I would post a link.....
I tested it on my Gainward Gf3 Ti450.
With D3D, @ 1024x768x32, high detail, I got 44 ave fps with the
Wicked405 timedemo.
With this driver, and the settings below I got 73fps ave in OpenGL.
Let me know if you get similar results.
To install, just rename the OpenGLdrv.dll in your
Unreal Tournament\System directory to OpenGLdrv.org or something
to back it up, then unzip the dll in the attached file to that
directory.
Edit your UnrealTournament.ini file and put the lines below
in the [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] section.
(Change the RefreshRate value to whatever you got your
display set at....)
