opnion on xeon 5050 for smp folding

I've been seeing 771 xeon 5050 chips cheap. Would these make a good SMP folder with a 2 chip motherboard?

The 50xx serious are netburst based. Presslers in a xeon form. I would go with 51xx chips which are woodcrest, conroe in xeon form. They aren't much more and well worth the ppd increase.

can't touch the 51xx chips for that money

$100! good deal. I say get them. You might even be able to pin mod them to up the FSB.
