Dayum good deal. The X2 3800+ is selling for more than that.

The X2 3800+ does have half the cache, but don't forget that it has a x10 multi and stock clocks are 2.0ghz, not 1.8ghz like the 165 opteron.

By the way, this deal was mentioned in an earlier thread, then went up to $315, then back down and here you are with this thread.

They tricked me, I'll tell ya.

They said "24 hour sale, prices will go up!" so I bought one of the 165 and one of the 170 OEM. The prices didn't go up for a couple days, and now it's back down.

Don't fall for this unless you were really waiting to buy one.

Basically, don't buy this just b/c of the price cuz they're playing with #s now.
