I reformatted my Windows XP system after a younger sibling thought it would be a good idea to screw around with the registry, and installed everything I had backed up, including Service Pack 1. Well, after installing Office XP, I found that Outlook was taking 1 to 2 minutes to load up, it would just stay on the splash screen. Any idea what's wrong? Before the reformat, it took 2 or 3 seconds.

Try disabling the Windows Messenger support in Outlook by going into Tools/Options/Other. It should be near the bottom there, make sure "Enable Instant Messaging in Microsoft Outlook" is unchecked.
