The only thing I can think of is try a different PSU. Usually when it is a PSU problem the PC shuts off.

Do all the lights turn off when it shuts off quickly, If they do I would suspect a PSU. The only other thing it could be is the motherboard VRM.

Well it is either the PSU or motherboard. The motherboard can send a signal to shut off the PSU. I would try and find a PSU you can swap to test.

I have one sitting next to me I just bought, was waiting to install my new AIO cooler, memory & fans that will be here Monday. Got an RMX850, This is all in preparation for a 3070 or 3080.
I really thank you for your help!!

Post back if the new PSU solves the shut down problem.

Most of what I said initially!!! Swap gpus, go back to stock (he said he did already), swap psus, lol!

What does the windows event log say? Does it show any reason for the unexpected shutdowns?

If it only happens with addon GPU installed my first guess would be a problem with the PSU and others have said this.

That voltage is likely way too low. My 9600k needed 1.38V at 4.8 Ghz. so I'd say 1.285 is way too low. The 9600K doesent overclock that well without a lot of voltage. The 9900k does much better. Also, use the voltage reported in CPU-Z and not the BIOS. My BIOS said like 1.46v but actual voltage under load with LLC was 1.38 on my MOBO. Some MOBOs are really off on the voltage settings.

Installed new PSU and everything seems to be fine now. Just ran Prime95 26.6 for an hour overclocked to 4.8ghz @ 1.295 with no issues and highest temp was 65c.

I do not think I will go over 4.8, I tried 5.0 and ran into a couple BSOD's(probably not enough voltage)

That is great the PSU fix the shut down problem.:) I run my core voltage at 1.336V for 5.0GHz.
