what ar ethe sequence of beeps?

like
beep,beep ...... beep
beep,beep,beep
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

My buddy had a 350Mhz at 500 quite stable. We never used stock cooling though, so I don't know how far stock will get ya ;)

You just have to raise the FSB and have adequate cooling. You're also limited to "the luck of the draw" with how far your particular chip can go.

umm thats great and all but anyone have a how to for me? i have no idea what the hell im supposed to do, my friend overclocked his p2 by messing with some jumpers but he has a diff mobo and knows what he's doing with it. where as i have NO idea so i really need a walk through or somthing

Thnx, Xan

It depends on your motherboard. It has to have an adjustable FSB(front side bus). Do you have the manual for your motherboard? Read it & look for any settings on how to increase the FSB. If it's an Abit-BH6, then it should have these settings in the BIOS, and increase it a little at a time. If it gets unstable, decrease it a tad.

it is adgusted through bios on the bh6, i believe you hit the delete key when booting, in there you will find a section for cpu speed, there are options to overclock and overvolt. is a 350 p2 a 66mhz fsb chip? just go straight for 100 and see if it will go

umm i tried in bios but if i ajust it to over 350 it resets most of my bois settings and wont boot till i lower it. i did that a long time ago, is there any way to fix that? new bios version or sumthing? and no i dont have the manual.

what do you mean my voltage? like in my bios or on my Power supply?
