overclocking 1.4 athlon

running abit kg7 raid
1.4 athlon
256 2100 ddr ram

overclocked it to 1533 at 133/11.5
but when i put multipler to 12 system wont boot and if it does get windows protection error try uping fsb but cant get it to 1.6 temp of cpu on load is 45 and system is 27 any ideas please :p

You might want to have this moved to the AMD forum. Also did you try to up the Vcore and what type of H.S.F. are you using. I know with my Dragon+ if I try to boot at 133x13 it won't.

That's about what to expect. I can't get my 1.4 athlon much over 1500 when I'm at 45 degrees.

The people in the AMD CPUs section can probably help the most in this situation.:D

Numbers are about right. Water cooling should see you above 1.7. I use the 11 or 11.5 multis depending on where I want the fsb.
