I recently purchase an Abit IS7 motherboard and an Intel 2.8e prescott processor and a half gig of memory. I loaded up windows me and everything works fine. However when I try to overclock even a little the computer refuses to boot. I heard the prescott processor and and the abit boards were supposed to be good overclockers but It's either default settings or nothing. Any ideas? Do I need to update the bios in order to overclock the prescott? If anyone has any suggestions please email me at [email protected] or [email protected]
