Oh yes. Turning up the front side bus turns up the IDE bus, too far and the drive will start having errors. Not all arrors are a result of overclocking though.
Use a disk maintenance program to fix the errors, and run some more. If it has new errors, fix them, but turn down the front side bus.
If this takes care of the errors, then you know it's the overclock causing them.
