heya I have a new Asus EEE 1005hab netbook... Only problem it came with Windows 7 starter but I upgraded to Premium because I had a un used windows 7 upgrade key laying around. It performs well, runs great with 2 gigs of dd2 6400. But I'd like to overclock the baby to at least 1.8 ghz from the stock 1.6. Has anyone tried this? The latest version of setfsb and eeectl locks up the netbook even bumping up the FSB with just a notch.. I don't know why because it’s because of Windows 7 incompatibility?

I wouldnt recommend doing that at all. I do not see much of a performance increase with the chip and it will probably overheat the whole thing. I have the asus 1005ha myself.
