So what are you using this beast for any way? Central heating?

I found one cheap 16 core online so I am hoping to find another to toss in it and see what happens. At that point I'm sure it'll just get stuffed in a corner and used for next to nothing, but it is a fun conversation peace and if I ever needed to render a video it is a pretty badass encoding rig.

Maybe you need to find a "cheap" server version

I have a legal copy of server 08 floating around somewhere, just a matter of installing it. I am going to try my 290 in the system to see if that helps any. The glitches could be the lack of an AMD bridge driver and crossfire.
