I have a ASUS EUROPA 3(atx-167)
P 3 650.

How can a beginner like me OC it?

SO far with my case mods and orb I"m running at 18 deg C at idle with a room temp of 75 deg F.

Anyone know how to OC it from the bios?

i sure do.....well i dont know anything about your mobo but intels multiplyer is locked so no go on changing that....i think all you can do it push the fsb (front side bus) go into the bios and look ,have a good time in there have fun, you'll find something like (in mine for eg. host pci bus or something) it was set to default...because i have a crappy mobo (qdi advance 10) i set it from default 133 (speed of ram) to 140 therefore making my comp from 800 to 840. i got a little impatient and went to 150 and i got blue screens galore so back to 140. then after 3 days i tried 150 again and here i am 100mhz happier.

any questions email me i got nuthin but time on my hand ([email protected]

can you give me a little more info like socket 370? pc 133? most experianced should know this but alas i dont if i dont reply email me at the adress i put above id love to help you (screw intel out of some money that is) yes well this voids your warentee but who cares FREE MHZ!!! hey a 12.5% increase for free not bad

hi Overclocking is done by raising the frontbus speed in the bios , i don't now your board so i can't tell you where to look. About the memory , The 2 most used are called pc100 or pc133 , this is a indication to what the ram can take if the FSB is raised , when raising the FSB you also raise the other devices mhz like pci/agp
If you want to get the max out of your cpu then go for the best merory/price
Just start upping the FSB in little steps and see where it ends , Then you can adjust/replace the things that's holding you back. You can get whatever speed you want but it costs a lot of time and money.
