sorry for the newbie question but i cant find an answer anywhere..
i recently installed another pair of memory sticks (going from 1 pair to 2 pairs) in dual channel mode but now cpu_z shows that my performance mode is disabled. it is set to enabled in the bios and when i was running only 1 pair cpu-z showed performance mode was enabled. does PAT get disabled when having all the memory slots full?
the system is
P4C800 dlx
2.6c overclocked to 3.0 (231 FSB)
1.5 Gb corsair pc 3200 (dont start...it was on sale)
bank 1 and 3 (blue slots) are corsair 3200 512 Mb
bank 2 and 4 (black slots) are corsair 3200 256 Mb
all have the same CAS at 2.5 and are at 1:1 ratio
