Just got a p185 on one of my rigs, when I saw them in the projects table I was kinda worried, but the K6-2-400 it's on is banging through it at 1:20 a frame, should take about 5 and a half days, p180s and 182s seem to take almost that long. They are really 9 pointers aren't they? More of these would help my score along nicely, the 2 point villins take nearly 2 and a half days, so this is about the easiest point/time ratio one I've had so far.

Just pondering why they might be worth a lot, while seemingly not taking that long for the amount of points they are worth, could it be that they are too large for on chip L2 to help much or something? Therefore better architecture systems don't get that much more advantage on them?

Hmm, I can't comment on the p185, but I've personally been happy with these 192's. It takes under 5 min / % for my PIII, and is even faster on the XP's and P4s. Taken my weekly production from 300ish to 1000ish. ;)
