Can you upgrade to a coppermine
or celeron
using a sloket?
can you adjust to voltage ?
can they be tweaked?
I read someware on the net a guy did do this
using the right bios rev.
what's the best slocket
please help
 
According to Asus, no. According to more than a few folks, yes. Let's hope that a knowledgeable person adds to this thread!

This guy didn't exactly cover my case, so I just went out and did it anyways.

I have a rev 1.10 I think, anyways, I got a tekram slocket card and set the voltage on the card to the required low-*** coppermine voltage and the mobo is doing it fine. Never had any problems and all voltages are reported correctly. Also got it to overclock a bit, but I suck at that (why I'm here) and haven't got it to go much higher than the 100mhz fsb that I got. Anyways, hope this helps.
