The past several days my P4 went from crunching a seti wu at 3hr average to around 6hr average. The only thing to really change was the ambiet temps(spring is getting close) and cpu temps were creaping over 50c so I figured it was time for spiral to sit on the P4.

Nice work what are your temps now? How fast and what voltage is your P4 at. I just vid pinned my northwood to 1.7v (1.65 actual) and I'm running at 2.7 GHz 42c water cooled. The temps seem a bit high but it could be that its an Asus board.

Ah, summer's on the way, wise move. I like the adaptation of the standard Intel HS clips. Pretty slick. :D

It is a 1.6a [email protected]/1.65vcore. Loaded temps are 38c and also on an asus m/b. P4S333.

It is about one of the weidest m/b I have delt with. Well, besides the other Asus m/b's in my life. It has been over a year since I last purchased an asus m/b and I can pretty much can tell you it will be my last. Don't get me wrong, the m/b is doing its job well(sorta). But there are still issues and Asus's site has little to offer, especially with yet another overall change to their site and leaving the customer w/o access to improtant info like drivers and utilities. I could go on a rant, but wont.

Yeah, I like simple:D Either way, mounting through the m/b or setting up like this would have taken about the same amount of time, but the ease of r&r drove me to set it up like this:cool:

Did a little cleaning up on the system this mourning so I could give you all a pic of the layout for the water cooling setup. Now I need to make me a shroud:cool:
