P4B newbie. Where to start?

Ok, a sort of newbie here. I have a P4B and P4 at 2.4. I have set the bus to 108 MHz. So far so good. When I went to 110, my one network card said no way.
What do you recommend I try next? I have only changed things in the BIOS and have not went to the the DIP switches (that looks interesting in the manual).
