I have heard of disabling the last to settings from Auto to disable.
Also something about "command per clock diabled"?

Whick memory setting are they talking about on this board?
Does it rally help wo run more stable when overclocked?
Also do you take any performance hits?

Thanks

There is no "GAT" on that board that's on the Abit's. Asus has MAM and Turbo. I have them both on /enabled. It varies from system to system as far as the stability with them on or off. Yes there is a performance hit to my system , mainly effected by turbo being on or off. Command per clock disabled? Have no idea what thats about or where the setting is.

What about ICH Control and Spread Spectrum then?

I am running fine at 245fsb (1.6 vcore) but am trying for 250fsb.
Boots and runs fine in Windows at 250, but fails Prime95 quickly, all the way up to 1.7 vcore.
I have the ram at 5:4 (196mhz).

Any ideas?

Thanks

It must be my cpu.
Luck of the draw?

At 250fsb, ICH and spread spectrum disable, memory at 2.5-3-3-6, vdimm 1.75, vcore 1.65, it failed memtest86 after 2 rounds. Memtest just stopped running, but the cursor was stll blinking.

But at 245fsb, ICH enabled, memory at 2-2-2-5, vcore 1.6, it ran memtest86 for 11 hours (85 rounds). Zero errors untill I turned it off.

Any other suggestions?

Now would it be faster at 245fsb, mem 5:4 at 2-2-2-5 or 230fsb, mem 1:1 at 2-3-3-6 ?

Thanks

Already disabled the USB.

Sisoft Cpu arth, Cpu multi are higher with the 245fsb 5:4 setting.
But the memory bandwidth is lower.

Prime95 benchmark numbers were also higher at 245fsb 5:4

3DMARK2001 scores are about the same.

Is there a benchmark program for real word testing? I play games and do digital editing and dvd burning mainly.
