i just got this protein, it is using the Gromacs core and i got it from server .117, stanfords page says that it is worth 10 points, i mean im not complaining at all, but it seems kinda weird since it is going at around 6 minutes and 15 seconds per frame, and it when it completes a frame on the console it says complelted however many out of 250000 steps, am i mistaken or are most proteins 500000 steps, so i was just wondering if this is really worth 10 points

Ahh so your the first one to get one eh? This was the 18 point protein that nobody got, they must have shrunk it down just for sanity's sake. What are the specs of the box that got it?

I got one too... weird 10 points, I'm doing a frame in 3:29, this can't be right, 10 points in 2hours 54mins? Check it out:

i'm not gonna complain about being able to 10 points in a few hours but i wonder if stanford put the points down wrong and its worth only like 1 or 2

I think the most likely thing is EMIII is not showing you the correct data..

Try shutting down the client, & downloading the new protein info file from...

http://home.attbi.com/~wxdude1/emsite/download.html

and see if it's different.

EMIII now says it is worth 10 points! Have a look at the log:

nope it still looks the same, EMIII is all screwed up on mine and says it is on frame 5, but the console says

[23:08:28] Protein: pAla7-2
[23:08:29] Writing local files
[23:08:29] Completed 26000 out of 250000 steps (10%)

of course it also says frame 5 of 50, so maybe it only goes up one frame for every 2 in the console, like the console is going by 100 but EMIII is going by 50 frames

I just got another ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
