Getting close to done with my Hyte Y70 "Panda" build. I am waiting on a new PSU Gawd knows I don't need one, have an EVGA 1000w and an 850 spares. I liked the new Lian Li Edge tho. So that might be the last part. Also waiting on the new Lian Li Hydroshift AIO. (Plus a couple vinyl Panda decals. :chair: )

Parts used:
MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus Master X (Thank You sir:sn:)
RAM: 32Gb or 64 G Skil Tridents. ( If anyone recommends speedier RAM I can give these to another build)
CPU: 12600K (Sorta played it safe till Intel works things out.)
Storage: 4TB M.2 Crucial and a 2TB WD OS M.2. (Tho I may use the 4TB as the OS drive and get another 4TB.)
AIO: Lian Li Hydroshift non RGB fans as I have reverse regular Lian Li infinities as replacements.
Fans: Li Li infinities...3 side reverse pulling air in. 2 140 pulling in at bottom (No reverse available in 140 so I flipped them) 1 140 exhaust in back and 3 on Rad at top for exhaust.
The fans are a little unbalanced , I'll see if it matters.
Almost forgot...
GPU: MSI 2 fan 4070 Ti super. I have only ever bought one white...out of a crap load of GPU's and this goes perfect with the Panda theme.
PSU: Lian LI 1000W Edge.

Extra's: Strimers 600w GPU and the 24 pin. Can't really see the point in the CPU's as you barely see them. I have the GPU strimer prominent as the clip was on this side on the GPU. These can be reverse tho if I take the cables apart, again I'll check air flow. As this shows it off the best as opposed to coming from the top.

After installing the PSU last night. I used the built in screen to test it. Everything worked but the screen did not make it to the Bios. After a few checks, replaced the MSI GPU with a like replacement and everything was good. Will be calling MSI today as I couldn't get the online RMA ticket to take the S/N.

Still a couple days till I get a better desk setup for a Desktop placement for this PC.

Still working on the Desk Height. Plus support for Hyte has been trying to figure out why their software can't detect my touch screen. Thankfully Wallpaper engine works fine and I'll add other widgets through Rainmaker or other software.

I have been working with Hyte support for a couple weeks now to get their software to detect their screen. They are moving it to their software group now as hardware has turned up nothing.

Oddly it has a USB C cable out of the screen that ends with a USB 2.0 Mobo connector and a SATA power cable. The odd thing is you can bypass this connector and go USB C to any external USB port and the screen works fine. Makes me wonder what the SATA power does and why needed. (It was one of the things they wanted me to try.

They decided to send me a new cable as a last resort for hardware. I think they want it to work more than I do. There are few substitute apps that I have been trying.

I wonder if a non Hyte screen slipped in and their software doesn't work with it.

I don't know who manufactures these screens, but somehow I doubt it's from their factory and I doubt it's manufactured only for them (I could be wrong with this specific size, but it looks like this with most other displays). It's probably from one of many Chinese OEM manufacturers. I wouldn't be surprised to find a similar display somewhere on Aliexpress under a weird brand. The same is with most products.

I assume that the SATA power cable is to support the power if you use an older motherboard with a standard USB 2.0 header that may have problems with the power limit. USB-C connectors are designed for higher power draw. I guess it should be described, but I can't find any proper manual.

It only says "SATA/USB 2.0, Y-Cable (Blue):Responsible for power and touch connectivity, respectively."

Somehow I'm surprised it takes you so much time with the support to solve this problem. The display is also available separately, so any high-end brand would already replace it or ask to send it back for tests.

From what I have seen their Nexus software doesn't work with the non OEM display's. Those other screens are available.

I predict now that the final resolution will indeed be a replacement screen. The screen works perfectly so that's probably why they are reticent to replace it. Looks like they are just moving down their list of steps.

I just think their software isn't ready. I like the screen just the way it is.
