Does anyone know where one can purchase Papst fans other than Plycon? I'm trying to come up with the best cfm/dB ratio that I can for my radiator fan.

Thermaltake fans have good CFM:noise ratios. I have used the 90mm model as intake fans and they are quiet and have good air velocity. Papst are really nice fans though, I have a 120mm for intake and it is silent. Great build quality too. To use an outdates phrase, they are the 'Cadillac' of fans.

Looking for a 120mm. I found some at quietpc.com, but they want $40 a piece for them. No way!

I tried voltage modding a Ys Tech 120mm fan, but it was still too noisy for my taste. Seems a touch unbalanced too maybe.

I have two, YSTech 120mm, 131cfm, and their only 20.00 canadian a piece (15 USD)...

Hey Maddman you think that's sweet, these YSTech are rated 46dBA but you can't hear them after pressing the power button, you only hear the low pitch motor upon bootup.

Sounds like 0dBA right now.
