Partition Improperly Dismounted

this is the error that partition magic gives me when i run...i cant do anything on my primary hdd even windows setup wont run...anyway to get a bootdisk with a check disk utility which reads NTFS...all the ones ive found only read FAT32....and i cant get into windows to try remounting it...

thanks for the help but i think something worse is wrong i finally gave up and reformatted in FAT32 and still the setup wouldnt run...i was able to get win98 up but theat is very instable even a ocing a little bit and a lot of the software was not installed properly...this is really weird...maynbe my hdd is dead?
