Partition size for Win 2000 Server?

Hi again:

How big do I need to make my primary partition to hold Windows 2000 Server. Is 3 gigs enough???? Format is NTFS.

3 gigs should be enough. But why not just use the whole drive?

Cause I Need two other logical drives for my setup. One to hold our office data base/application and the other I split up for each employs word and excell files.

Makes backing up easier this way.

Here's the way I have all my servers set up. Primary (C:\) is a 4 GB partition. Big enough for the OS, pagefile, and other misc stuff. Then the Apps partition is the rest of the drive. I set the C:\ drive to be invisible to my users (so they can't screw anything up) and the apps drive is change only. They can run apps and save data, but can't delete or add apps. I like this because I can "hide" my OS drive and know that I am the only one with access to it. Plus it keeps my apps seperate from the OS.
