PC game controller

What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

XBOX 360. It is a USB controller and your computer should automatically recognize it. Obviously, it is a good controller. Could go wireless too. And same button configuration as XBOX.
