pc restarts

hi all
ive just bought a asus a7a266-e and a 1700xp cpu and a coolmaster up2 2gig fan
my problem is this my pc works fine a t 11oomhz but when i try 2 turn it up on the bios 2 1400+ my pc just restarts it self
how can i get my pc 2 run faster

Sounds like the thermal option is kicking in.

Have you disabled Power Management this can have the effect of re-booting the system if left on.

oni what is the thermal option and how can i disable it ?

Both are in the BIOS, but I can't remember how to access them off of the top of my head.

if so u need more volts to other wise it will reboot at randum
