pci-e x16 slots

Is it possible to run a video card in the second pci-e slot at x16 instead of x2 with a ultra-d? I don't have a card in the first slot and the second is defaulting to x2.

If you flip the bridges it'll allow you to run it at 8x, but not 16x. 8x shouldn't hurt your performance in any case.

Okay thanks, freaking chipset waterblock gets in the way of the first slot.
