Hi

I am thinking about using a PCI-E riser card for a ATI Radeon X8500 XT PE card and I was wondering whether that might create any problems - loss of signal, response time , synce etc.

Thanks for any feedback.

I am looking into using one of these Flex riser for a custom built case

Cheers

The traces used on those boards are generally as good as the ones used on your motherboard so you should be safe.

Any more opinions on these things? I'm interested in them too since the NB on the DFI Ultra-D NF4 is right under the PCI-E video card, making it practically impossible to change the NB cooler.

I just ordered of of the FLEX-16 extenders. They run $40 ...ouch
I'll post how everything worked out next week. Still waiting for the ATI card...
