I cant believe for one second that this test is based entirely on memory and not dependent on CPU at all. With my Mushkin 3200 running 220 Cas 2.0 2-2-6 i can barely get 7,000, where i see people getting 7,500 with Corsair relaxed timings ddr333 with 800mhz p4 C processors.

actually the video card plays a role in this and the hardrive benchmark. the better the vid card, the higher the score believe it or not. for a test, enable vsync in your display dirvers,a nd set the refresh rate to 60 hz. now run your mem becnh and hdd bench and watch your scores go down. suprised the hell out of me when I found out myself

Well here are the systems that i get owned on, mine being the first, which proves all of your little things wrong, or so i think:
mine:
Athlon 1700 @ 220*11
2x 256 Mushkin pc3200 @ 1:1 ratio cas 2.0 2-2-6 Dual Channeled
Radeon 9700 nonpro ocd

vs.
Pentium 4 2.6c at 3.5ghz
1x 512mb Corsair XMS 2700 running at 333mhz cas 2.0 2-3-3
Geforce 4 TI4400 stock

Its not the video card, its not the dual channel, its not cas timings....

Im sorry, but a P4 will almost always beat a amd in memory becnhes. besides, where is the compare links for these things. and if you have tested it your self you would see what I meant, Like I said, all you have to do is enable vsync and run the bench
