Hey guys. All of you who have benchmarked with PCMark2002 what kind of scores are you getting in the Hard Drive section???

Hey thanks Rio.

I was looking at some of the scores at madonion.com and some of those guys' HD scores are over 4000. How the hell are they scoring that high. Isn't 2000 about the highest that you can honestly get??

I get right over 1300 with two 7200 rpm hard drive in RAID 0.

Anybody else have scores??

My HD score is about 500 or so I think. Its so bad that I don't remember exactly. Any idea why my score is so low? I have one SCSI IBM DTLA 307045 45gb HD.

1500...also scsi arrays will shoot these scores outa the water easily, so i am sure its possible to go way higher then 2k. Just saw a atto bench, guy was over 200mg/sec read and write--thats fast!

hdd

at 148 FSB with a Maxtor d740x on an ATA133 channel... 875

The benchmark seems kinda buggy to me, but single ata hdd's generally score under 1000, raid 0 gets a little higher, and SCSI stomps the llama's @$$.
