Will the clip that comes with the PEP66 be able to hold a 85 watt pelt and a 1/8" cold plate?? What can I do to get the 85 watt pelt and a 3/8" copper cold plate to mount to my slocket?? I'm getting ready to order the 85 watter as soon as I get the ok from the wifey!!

no... that is not a wise idea... you will be putting undo stress on the socket tabs and you will have a hard time getting the peltier and cold plate to sit properly on the cpu...

go to dangerden.com and buy one of their cpy hold down brackets... that should work really well, just don't forget that those socket tabs are very very fragile and will break if to much pressure is on them...

You can use a rubber "O-ring" to hold the heatsink down. I see quite a few waterblocks using this tiedown method. I tried it myself a few months ago (I lost a clip) and I worked (then I found the clip).
