Right now I'm in the process of planning my watercooling system. After reading many reviews that mentioned the massive difference between recommended clamping pressures for peltiers and cpu's I came up with an idea. Looking at the Dangerden Maze2 Waterblock, i noticed that it is attached with 4 bolts going through the block itself, not an additional plate. My idea is to have a coldplate created with these same holes, and then clamp the peltier in between them with 4 small clamps, more like brackets with a screw on one side to apply the pressure to the waterblock, one on each side as tight as they will go. You may have to use a large coldplate to prevent warping but I believe it can be done, and the clamps would have to be quite strong as well. Then you would have the bolts go through the holes in both the coldplate and the waterblock to secure the whole assembly to the processor. If anyone has tried this, or has any ideas on this let me know.

Thanks
- Jason

im not really sure which maze you mean, the maze2-2 is optomised for both the cpu and peltier by having the cold plate screwed on to the block seperatly by using different holes then the 4 used for the mounting.

just the standard maze2, i actually didnt look at the maze2-1 and 2-2. i suppose that the existance of those 2 would make my idea obselete. *shrug* shoulda done more research.
