Alright, in my quest for better cooling I'm going to pelts. I plan on a 226watt on cpu, and either an 80 or 172@12V on the gpu.

Now, my original plan was to have my loop go like this:

cpu->chevette heatercore->gpu->pump->BIX->cpu

Now, I'm thinking, two blocks, two rads, why not just go with two loops?

Would I see much benefit? the blocks are a maze 3-1 and either a Swifty MCW50-T or Maze 4-1 GPU. With 1/2" Id tubing.

Or, would I be better off to just invest in a better/more powerful pump? I've been eying a Mag3 if I do that.

Tell me what you think.

I think it may just be best to go with 2 loops with two medium sized pumps instead of Mag 3 and one loop. I would think you would get better flow rate with two loops (depending on the pumps you use). I would ask around in the extreme cooling section though.

hmm....alright.

I already have a via aqua 1300, so I think I'll pick up another one of those once I get some cash.

I'm going to bump this one last time, just to see what other opinions I get.

I have 2 rigs each running dual loops H2O systems. After I did this my temps dropped 5-6 degrees PM me with your email and I will send ya some pics

I would DEFINATLEY go with 2 loops intead of one. if you get'n that much peilter action that water is gonna get warm! so you would either have to run two loops like you want or use one pump and run in PARRALEL, not in a series.! your GPU would get a beat'n try to cool that with that warm water coming from the CPU.. so yeh.. 2 loops   :D

Replice, one loop in parrallel wouldn't work as well I don't think.

One block would get a lot hotter than the other.....

And Cathar I'm not really looking at a TEc chiller, and while I didn't read the whole thread (21 pages), that's all i saw.

Good site though, Too bad I had to register.

My apologies. When I saw two loops and TEC's, I had assumed that you meant a TEC chiller.

It's ok, interesting thread though.

What was that Drift program you used? I searched for it, but didn't find anything?

Do you have a link?
