hell everyone....hope u all had a good crimbo
its been a while since i posted here but i have just gotten hold of a P4 2.8 ghz chip ( http://processorfinder.intel.com/Details.aspx?sSpec=sl7pk )
and 2gig (4 x 512) of giel pc3200 ram( http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-GeIL-DDRAM-2x512MB-PC-3200-GE1GB3200BDC) ...... i am still using the p4p800-e mobo and old ram and timings as in my above posts...
what i need to know is the mobo ,chip and ram compatible with each other and am i able to overclock this chip by much or am i better off just using the ram and keeping my northwood 2.66 clocked @ 3.2 gig
