Sharkyextreme has a pretty favorable review of the Acoustic Edge, and I would like to get the Creative Labs 'taking over your computer' driver/software package off of my system. And I'm tired of waiting and waiting for boot up.... 20 second boots plus 1 Live GamerX = SLOOOOOWWW boot.
The Philips card looks like it might be a good alternative, but how about PCI overclocking ? Has anyone seen posts about this card in a system with, say 40 MHz ? More ? Driver experiences ??
