i have been asked to take pics and post some of my rig that runs my 1700 aiuhb 0302 with an epox 8rda and a maze3 with ramsinks on every mosfet and the vcore regulater.also has a retail amd heatsink/fan on the north bridge and the stock epox hs on the south bridge.

it has a danner 500gph pump there with my homemade pvc 3' resivour. the radiater and ac fan is in the window box.
the pics are crap as done with a web cam.
its about a 70% completed long term project as some parts keep getting put off for newer upgrades.

LOOK OK?

no offence man, but instead of investing all of that money in a good water rig to get 100mhz more, invest it in a digital camera :D

See now, I dont think having that extra mess is even worth it. I mean cmon people, wakeup, its just a computer. Sure, you want to overclock, but is THAT^ necessary? NO

hehe yeh well i cant get etra mhz with a picture now can i?
its definetly not mobile by any means.id even hate to guess the weight of the case alone.60lbs mabey?

mostley i took these for the epox guys to see the mods on the mobo. but decided to throw in a few of the h20 stuff.the resivour is kinda unique.

plus im into ocing not photography.hmm id just end up taking pics of cpu's and water blocks anyhow.

spoken like a true air user! jelous?

I have a watercooled case that I regularly tote to a local LAN party. It is not impossible, just very heavy to carry(~55 lbs, maybe more!). I purposely made mine so that it is all contained and worry free like an air case, I get temps a little batter than an SLK800 with good air-flow would get, I am not OC'd because of a few stability issues. (Still figuring that one out....) I don't think anyone should bag on water users, nor should water users bag on air ones. We all do whatever we want to our computers, nobody elses opinion can change the fact that if we like it, its good enough.

I don't get it...why all the heat sinks on the motherboard ?? Some kind of volt mod I havn't read about yet ??

Other then that looks like an overclockers setup More MHZ over perty looks...that's what it's all about. I'd hate to tow along my full tower case AND astron power suply that runs my 80w pelt.

...Plus I bet he had fun and learned a lot just making that H2O contraption.

Hell, I have a cardboard tube running from the HSF though a hole I cut it the side of my case. This is so it can draw cooler room air. I covered the end of the tube with a piece of my wife's old stocking as a dust filter. Duct tape all over the place!

well the heatsinks are used for high voltage running.not many mobos can run 2.2v 24/7 without overheating, especially the 8rda.

yeh i have the vcore mod and the vdd mod both done.believe it or not they are necesery.if you notice also i have 2 psu's running in it also, isnt clear in the pic tho.1 for the mobo alone and 1 for everything else.
im actually buying another psu to replace the one running the mobo as it killing it at 2.2vcore it drops to 4.73v on the 5v line.
its a 300wt psu btw.

the h20 is almost done i need to rerun the lines out the back and add my freezer as winter is gonna be over soon.

duct tape was my best friend until i ran out by useing it all.
guys this is my toy/hobby,why else would i run a cpu at 2.2v 24/7 folding? granted i do 2508mhz but still im leaning on it hard and i dare it to stop.
in the end im saving money,do you know how much i can spend in a bar every night and out partying?im rather large and have a high tolerance.so i do this instead and im happier for it.

I'm looking into a 8rda board...whats the stock max voltage without the volt mod? I like your res hehehe, what kinda of temps are you getting? Thats a hell of a O/C

well i had no probs doing 2.15v but i did the cut on the 16th leg on the vcore regulater just in case.mabey wasnt nesecary for me but isnt like i could rma it anyhow.
some do have probs over 2.05vcore tho.the ramsinks might have done that for me asi added them only the second day i owned it.

temps im at 28c @2.18vcore i dont let it go below 24c as condensation sets in and im not fully insulated.
ty i like the res alot better than the 5 gallon tub i was using.and is rather insulated also.plus full 3" access with a screw on top.

dude, this is overclockers.com, not www.miss_sally's_workshop.com....get real. If that's what he does to get his, then it ain't up to me or you to knock it. Nobody is telling you to do it, so don't put him down for trying...

Ohhh Nice BONG man!!! You use that for any other purposes??? :p LOL J/K

Nice job man Keep up the good works:D

Totaly worth it, let the brother be. Up until I started OCing last year, I really had no hobby other than ilicit ones (not getting into it here). If the man (on a side note, hard to tell gender here in the forums, but I'll assume mostly men) wants to put sinks on a MOSFET, by god he will, because. . .well because someone has to?

wow finnaly i dont feel dumb or hurt all my efforts would be ridiculed.not that i care much but does make me want to share my work and opinions less when its met negativley.

ty for the support guys.and i think they are knitting cpu warmers on www.miss_sallys_workshop.com today.lmao

if you don't see all that as a TRUE overclocker, then you're in the wrong board my man, you're in the wrong board... :D
