Me on Lead Rope at "Vertical Reality" In Ottawa...BTW, for you climbers, that climb is about 5.8-5.9.
Cool, somebody I can relate to :D I used to climb, but never anything terribly difficult. Unfortunately married life and lack of free time has taken its toll on me. I really need to get back in shape and pick that hobby up again. That was fun! Here I am just starting a 5.8 lead at Sand Rock Alabama, and second was my first time ice climbing in Alaska. Man those were fun times.

ice climbing?! that really sounds fun. hope i'll have chance to do that at least once in my lifetime.
Yeah it is pretty cool - never got to do much of it because of my location, but I've heard it takes a lot of experience to learn how to plan a route and judge the condition of the ice you're climbing on.

That looks like a fun Route TC...! I too have been out of climbing for about 6 months now....Me and the G/F are going to start again this spring....My rope and Shoes are caked w/ dust and neglect, although my feet are relieved that I dont punish them anymore;)
Nice shots TC...I Like the Ice climbing shot.:D

P.S..I gotta say it is pretty cool to see everyones face...Looking good Y'all!!!!

Hahaha TC! That looks crazy dangerous! The only climbing I've done is at Cyberdome in St. Laurent (Puer you must know of this), and that was fake! I nearly hurled when looking down!

Great pictures all ! Great to see our team, now let's do a get together --TC's house *hinthint* He'll supply the comps.

Ya Yodums I Grimace whenever i see that wall at St. Laurent..but really it is a good way to learn and decide whether you want to do more climbing. If you get over puking at the top of the wall get your fanny over to Vertical Reality....Lot's of climbers your age and loads of chicks, as many girls as there are guys!

and computer people hang out there as well..loads of IT peeps come after work.
